The season of Lent – a time of reflection, repentance and rededication—begins on Ash Wednesday which this year is February 22nd. To mark the beginning of this holy season, Good Shepherd will observe the following:

Morning service: 6-9 am

The Sanctuary will be open for quiet contemplation and prayer for those heading to work or other requirements of the day. A self-guided program will be provided for those who desire. Pastor Edwards will be present during this time for the Imposition of Ashes (cross of ashes on the forehead) as an outward sign of contrition and repentance. You may come and go at any time during this period.

Evening service: 7:30 pm

Our traditional Ash Wednesday worship service will be held in the Sanctuary.
